About The Role:

As the Assistant Swim Pool Manager, your role is critical in enabling us to achieve this objective. You must create a positive, engaging, and supportive work environment for all swimming pool employees, clients, and users by ensuring consistent staff schedules, overseeing equipment and supplies, handling hiring and onboarding procedures, providing staff development opportunities, and administering in-service training. Furthermore, you must be prepared to step in and cover shifts, support staff, and take charge when necessary to ensure that all safety and service standards are met at all times. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Under the direct supervision of the Swim Pool Manager, the role of the Assistant Swim Pool Manager is a part of the pool leadership team, responsible for fostering a positive, engaging, and supportive work environment for all employees, clients, and users of the aquatic facility. Some of your responsibilities include:

  • Enforcing policies and procedures to ensure the smooth operation of pool facilities.

  • Help manage and train aquatic personnel.

  • I oversee all swimming pool operations, including first aid, rotations, staff scheduling, public relations, janitorial duties, and limited pool maintenance, including cleaning. 

The Assistant Swim Pool Manager is a supervisory position requiring working weekdays, weekends, and holidays in a warm, humid climate. Excellent organizational, communication, and public relations skills are necessary for this position.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES & REGISTRATIONS

The certifications below are preferred, and candidates with these will be given priority. Training and certifications will be provided

  • Pool Operator’s Permit (CPO/AFO)

  • Lifeguard W/CPR/AED Professional Rescuer and First 

  • American Swim Coaches Association (ASCA) Level 2 Coaching Certificate

 

Pay and Hours: 

Earn up to $800 per week, depending on experience, with additional monthly and end-of-season incentive pay available. The position requires 38-40 hours per week, available for day and evening shifts, as well as weekend and holiday work.
