Overview

The Analytical Development Intern will perform routine laboratory activities and be exposed to the analytical method development and characterization of biotherapeutics. The intern will learn and eventually assist in routine analytical method development and testing. This is a paid internship located at the Fall River, MA facility.

Responsibilities

• Buffer and solution preparation.
• Stocking / maintaining inventory of laboratory consumables.
• Cleaning and autoclaving glassware.
• Observing, training, and assisting with various analytical techniques such as size exclusion chromatography (SEC), capillary isoelectric focusing (icIEF) and capillary electrophoresis (CE-SDS), Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA), Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), Differential Scanning Fluorimetry (DSF) and Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS).

Education/Experience:

• Intern must be enrolled in and maintain enrollment at an accredited College pursuing an AS degree or certificate program
• Basic laboratory skills
• Intern must be approved by Massachusetts Life Science Center Internship Program
