Shift Hours

Night Shift: 11:00 pm - 7:15 am, Sunday - Thursday, $1.00 differential pay

Day Shift: 7:00 am - 3:15 pm, Monday - Friday

Overview/Purpose:

The Inventory Control Clerk (Cycle Counter) reconciles the physical inventory of raw materials, ingredients, and finished goods. Provides feedback and training to team members in Production and Shipping in order to improve inventory accuracy.

Tasks are to be completed while maintaining the highest safety, food safety and quality, cost and GMP standards in a high-speed manufacturing environment.

This role also serves as a backup role and for additional duties as needed related to material handling for the operations team. Duties included are providing packaging materials, loading the Mezzanines with tea, engaging with material returns, and handling finished goods. Other duties as needed for the operations team.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Certified to operate forklift/reach truck
• Must be computer literate and have demonstrated experience effectively leveraging an inventory control system.
• Must be able to work in a safe manor with serious regard for the quality of the materials being handled.
• Must be able to multitask and serve the needs of a variety of department functions.
• Must continually meet internal and external customer expectations through teamwork, respect and willingness to help and support others.
• Must be highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel).
• Ability to work with the public and employees in a tactful and friendly manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Inventory Control Clerk (Cycle Counter)

Documents physical counts of both raw and finished materials for the overall Celestial operations in multiple locations.

Research various inventory discrepancies and reconciles all issues in a timely manner. Leverages and utilizes overall systems and reports as needed.

Provides feedback and training as needed to improve individual team members skill and effectiveness in proper inventory tracking processes.

Responsible for reporting food safety and quality issues and initiate action, as necessary.

Cycle counts monthly, year-end inventory.

Pick orders and supply operations with necessary materials for production schedule with an emphasis on quality and accuracy.

Load finished goods on designated carriers ensuring accuracy and minimizing damage to product.

Safe operation of all equipment, maintain the warehouse in a clean, organized manner.

Data entry to relieve inventory, create address labels and bar code labels.

Maintain FIFO inventory.

Maintain daily checks on forklifts, batteries.

Ability to work overtime as needed.

Responsible for reporting food safety and quality issues and initiate action, as necessary and additional duties and various projects as needed.

• New starting wage is $19.00 per hour (commensurate with experience and location).
