JOB OPPORTUNITY: Inside Sales Account Representative

We seek a motivated, well-spoken Inside Sales Account Rep to join our team. The Inside Sales Account Rep will be responsible for developing new leads, understanding customer needs, analyzing sales data, and offering parts solutions. To be successful you should be able to build rapport with customers while ultimately seeking their satisfaction. A top Inside Sales Account Rep should also be very competitive and a good listener. The primary responsibilities will be to increase opportunities through customer interaction, add value to the customer through problem-solving, and increase our success rate with quotations.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Learn the ClydeUnion Pump product line, bills of material, and part functionality.
  • Complete technical and commercial training and then apply that knowledge in day-to-day activities.
  • Pursue customers regarding parts quotations to ensure their needs are being met. If certain parts are not ordered, seek to understand why, and provide feedback to the team.
  • Seek to understand customer needs and identifying opportunity for up-selling complimentary parts and upgraded solutions.
  • Develop quotations for upgraded or complimentary parts and present them to customers with an intent to win the order.
  • Inquire about customer installed pumps to identify additional aftermarket part opportunities.
  • Identify customers with declining sales, then work with them to recover that business.
  • Utilize installed base data to locate units and inquiring about the customer’s spare parts usage.
  • Review quote history with specific accounts and try to identify opportunities for upgraded parts.
  • Promote Celeros capabilities, and develop leads for overhaul, repairs, field service, and replacement pumps.
  • Engage with Celeros Service Center teams and provide standard spare parts lists for pumps that are in shop for overhaul.
  • Engage with the factory and new equipment sales team to offer spare parts to go with new pump projects.
  • Utilizing social media and email marketing to develop new leads and promote Celeros/ClydeUnion products and services.
  • Engage with customers regarding Pricing Agreements and help facilitate that process within the Celeros team.
  • Perform all tasks in accordance with Celeros Flow Technology Business Conduct guidelines.
  • Workdays – Monday-Friday and other as required.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Understanding of pumps and rotating equipment is preferred.
  • Strong technical aptitude is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and achieve set targets.
  • Strong computer skills including the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and additionally SAP.
  • Experience with AS400 is a plus.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma, 2-year associate degree or equivalent Customer Service experience required.
  • 2 years related experience.
