We have openings in our Elk Grove, CA clinic for two Lead SLPA positions. We are seeking highly organized, and dedicated Full-Time Speech-Pathology Assistants to lead a vibrant SLPA team. Your treatment caseload will be fun and diverse as well as your cohorts. You will provide treatment in a clinical setting, home, and school setting and lead a group of SLPAs. Out of state applicants relocation assistance up to $3000 provided if eligible.
SLPA Responsibilities include:
  • Implementing direct therapy and treatment plans under the supervision and treatment plan of an SLP.
  • Document and store treatment plans, progress reports, or SOAP notes daily.
  • Manages time efficiently in between direct treatment and follows a daily schedule.
  • Research-related speech and language problems.
  • Attends and contributes to quarterly staff meetings.
  • Lead key team initiatives for SLPAs.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree in Speech Pathology or a Bachelor’s in Communication Disorders with a current California SLPA license.
  • Ability to build rapport with staff and patients.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Positive and collaborative demeanor.
  • Excellent time management and highly organizational skills.
  • Work Location is 4 days Elk Grove, 1 day lead SLPA duties.
  • Minimum 4 years SLPA experience.
  • Experience working in a school and clinic is a plus.
  • A positive and motivating mindset to coach and develop others/Mentor! Must like helping others/making an impact.
  • Must align and know the practice's standard operating procedures - Mission/Vision/Core Values.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and strong time management skills.
  • Plays a pivotal role in training and onboarding new SLPA hires.
