Shift: 1st shift 7:00am-3:00pm Part time

Job Description

· Inspect storage rooms, workrooms, utility/janitorial closets, etc for upkeep and supply control

  • Ensures that outside services are completed in accordance with contracts/work orders
  • Assists in establishing a preventative maintenance program
  • Assists in identifying, evaluating, and classifying routine and job-related maintenance functions to ensure that tasks involving the potential exposure to blood/body fluids are properly identified and recorded
  • Maintains fire alarm and other fire protection and preventive systems
  • Completes carpentry and other building repairs within the scope of expertise
  • Maintains heating and cooling systems
  • Makes some electrical and plumbing repair within the scope of expertise
  • Snow and ice removal for the sidewalks
  • When required, is on call seven days a week, 24 hours a day for emergencies
  • Coordinates maintenance services and activities with other related departments

Qualification

  • High school education or its equivalent
  • One year experience in a maintenance related position
  • Valid driver's license
