CeDent is Hiring a Data Engineer (Moline, IL) Near Moline, IL

NOTE: This team is working a hybrid schedule (two (2) days/week in the client's Moline, IL, office). Fully remote candidates will not be considered for this position – please verify their willingness to work the required hybrid schedule PRIOR to submitting them to the req.
Required Skills:

  • Needs hand on experience with Python, AWS, Apache Spark – MUST HAVE
  • 3 years Data Engineering work experience building Pipelines and ETL processes. Hands on Databricks experience – MUST HAVE
  • 5 or more years of hands-on experience in the AWS / JAVA J2EE in the design, development, testing and integration of high complex backend – MUST HAVE
  • Experience working with Big Data – MUST HAVE

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Proven work experiences in designing and implementing loosely coupled microservices
  • 2 or more years of experience in cloud development with platforms like AWS
  • 2 or more years of hands-on experience of full-stack design patterns and designing loosely coupled architectures
  • 2 or more years of experience with CI/CD build processes and configuration
  • 4 or more years of proven experience in an Agile/Scrum team environment
  • 4 or more years of deep experience leveraging DevSecOps and lean development principles such as Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
  • 2 or more years of experience working with Test Driven Development and Unit Test Frameworks
  • Experience implementing high quality code to ensure that features meet business needs and is scalable
  • Skilled in interpersonal communications, negotiation, conflict resolution and demonstrates
  • Proven experience as a work lead providing technical coaching and mentoring to others
  • Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience in a related career field
