BASIC FUNCTION (the primary purpose of this position) :

This position is responsible for providing exemplary guest service for the RV Park. Handles all guest's needs related to the RV Park including registration, check out, cashiering & guest concerns in a friendly, professional manner to encourage repeat business.

PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Promote a clean, safe, healthy and friendly work environment for employees and guests; report and direct safety issues to Safety Committee.
  • Registers arriving guest, assigning spaces, issuing paperwork, ensuring adequate site check out and coordinating guest services.
  • Updates guest accounts to accurately reflect services and any other charges and ensure guest billing is accurate including validating methods of payment.
  • Maintains the neat appearance of the registration area at all times.
  • Responds in a timely manner to all guest requests, special needs and information regarding the property or outlets.
  • Resolves or refers to management all guest concerns, complaints or suggestions in a continuous effort to provide superior guest service.
  • Handle closing and opening duties as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS ( objective educational or technical training required; skills; and years of experience) :

  • High school graduate or GED preferred.
  • Previous hospitality or outdoor recreation related experience desirable.
  • Must be able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to perform basic math functions.
  • Ability to multi-task and perform job functions with frequent interruptions.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products preferred.
  • Experience with property management or gaming facility software a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to resolve guest issues with tact.
  • Must be able to work unsupervised as well as in a busy team setting.
  • Must present a professional, clean image following departmental grooming standards.
  • Must pass and remain in compliance with Coquille Gaming Commission background check and drug free work place policies.

Ability to work weekends, holidays and evening hours as business demands. While performing duties of this position, employee is required to stand for extended periods, and frequently walk, sometimes operate golf cart around the park, and use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.

Ability to manage stress appropriately, make decisions under pressure, and respond to anger, fear, and hostility of guests appropriately.
