Summary of Essential Duties :

• Perform routine assigned neurodiagnostic studies in the inpatient and outpatient settings as requested
• Studies include EEG, LTM, Routine and Ambulatory
• Assists with department projects including but not limited to research, database maintenance, and quality improvement
• The technologist may be asked to head projects, taking a lead role in the maintenance and completion of neurophysiology task that aid the lab and / or the scientific community
• Prepare rooms before and after studies and / or procedures
• Explains details of procedure to patients, in accordance with standards of practice as defined by Cedars-Sinai and applicable certifying or regulatory standards

Education :

• Associate's Degree / College Diploma in an Accredited Neurodiagnostics Program required
• Bachelor's Degree in a biological science preferred

License / Certifications :

• by ABRET preferred
• BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
• CLTM from ABRET preferred

Experience :

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Neurodiagnostics required
• Applicants with more than 3 years of experience may be considered as a Tech II
