- Working Hours: 24 hours weekly, from Monday to Friday
- Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the physical needs and capabilities of children.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
- Provide physical therapy interventions to address challenges related to gross motor skills, mobility, strength, and coordination.
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions as needed.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated and holistic approach to each child's development.
- Monitor and document the progress of children in therapy.
- Adjust treatment plans as necessary to address evolving needs.
- Educate parents on therapeutic activities and exercises to support and enhance therapy goals at home.
- Participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings as required, providing input and recommendations for physical therapy services.
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy.
- NY State licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Experience working with pediatric populations.
- Strong understanding of child development and pediatric physical therapy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
