Cedardale, Inc. is Hiring a Facilities Maintenance Technician Near Haverhill, MA

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Technician to join our team to perform tasks such as repairs and groundskeeping. As a Facilities Technician, you will be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems and ensure facilities are tidy and functional. You must possess manual dexterity and physical stamina.

We are looking for an individual who is reliable, takes pride in doing a job well done and has a willingness to do whatever it takes to maintain a safe and clean health and wellness facility.

Responsibilities:

Able to frequently use general maintenance tools, supplies and equipment such as, but not limited to, hand tools, pressure washers, blowers, paint equipment, ice removal equipment, ladders, landscaping equipment, sanders and safety equipment.
Maintain appropriate care of all equipment and tools.

  • Performing minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls, changing lightbulbs, changing water filters and water testing of swimming pools, etc.
  • Basic plumbing
  • Installing appliances and equipment.
  • Doing garden/yard upkeep by mowing lawn, collecting trash etc.
  • Assist with assembly and disassembly of air supported structures for aquatics and tennis areas.
  • Assist with preparing outdoor facilities for summer season and winterizing the facilities in the fall.
  • Other duties as assigned may be required to meet the organization’s needs.
  • On-call availability in case of emergency.

Experience:

  • Working knowledge of facilities maintenance.
  • Familiar and experience working with hand tools.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Relevant certifications or trade school education is a plus
  • Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills
