LPN Night Supervisor

AtCedarbrook Senior Living, we work hard every day to find out what “CelebratingLife Every Day!” means to our residents and their families, then we help themachieve these goals. We are seeking a dynamic LPN Night Supervisor for our Bloomfield Hills community.

Responsibilities:

• Floats the community’s neighborhoods (AssistedLiving, Memory Care, and Nursing Home) to assure care team members areperforming essential duties and responsibilities in an effective manner.
• Provides assistance with resident care as neededor as assigned.
• This position supervises Caregivers, CNAs, MedTechs and LPNs
• Assigns tasks to team members and follows-up toensure high standards of care and documentation of such care. Promotes andparticipates in the education of staff, team member, and resident.
• Contributes to a positive work team by sharinginformation, using problem-solving methods and accepting new ideas,constructive criticism, or advice from others.
• Assists with the preparation, implementation, andcontinuing evaluation of the nursing care plan.
• Assists the Director of Nursing withresponsibilities and tasks as assigned.
• Checks narcotics every shift with on-coming Nurseand corrects count according to procedure if appropriate.
• Observes infection control measures and assuresothers observe as well.
• Maintains awareness of comfort and safety needsof resident.
• Responds to life saving situations based uponnursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocol.
• May need to respond as appropriate to personalcalls from other health center units in the community. Duties in this setting may include but arenot limited to providing First Aid, call emergency personnel (dial 911), and/orcall family members at request of residents.
• Maintains compliance to all personnel policies,established community policies and procedures, and Federal and Stateregulations and standards, including but not limited to HIPAA privacy andconfidentiality laws.
• Dependable and able to meet schedule requirements(attendance and punctuality) with no restrictions with rotating weekends.
• Effectively and efficiently executesresponsibilities in a caring and supporting manner.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
