ATTENTION all service professionals and/or recent college graduates interested in a hospitality career! Cedarbrook Country Club is hiring for a Food and Beverage Supervisor!

The Food & Beverage Supervisor's primary focus is the Member Dining areas, while supporting the outlets, and occasionally banquets (halfway house and pool) as required.

The ideal candidate will excel at setting and exceeding standards, both in dining room service and personal conduct.

This position will work together with all relevant departments and reports to the Food and Beverage Director.

Position Overview:

The Food & Beverage Supervisor will supervise and direct all FOH team members and will ensure all operations are running in accordance with Club standards.

Greets members & guests and assure they are enjoying their experience.

Active management of on-floor assignments, staff organization, side work, and planning for daily operations in all food and beverage venues.

Maintains POS for F&B operations along side F&B Director.

Remain highly visible and maintain a respectful presence within the Club with the goal of building relationships with the membership as well as their own team members.

Assist F&B Director in creation and enforcement of FOH operating procedures.

Operate as an active leader in training and assisting staff with preparing Member dining areas for service.

Develop and execute training programs to ensure all areas are consistently operating with a high level of service.

Responsible for the opening and closing duties of the team members and ensuring accountability measures are in place to ensure those duties are being performed to standard.

Develop a rapport and authority with the FOH team to guide and direct them successfully through daily service.

Continually assesses club wide safety protocols and proposes solutions.

Assists in promoting, advertising and marketing the club's social events to all members.

Assist in the development and implementation of training programs for all incoming employees. Concurrently, seek opportunities to retrain or refresh current staff.

Continually look for opportunities to improve service while learning from mistakes to continue driving toward excellence.

Maintain a respectful and positive attitude with a coaching style that brings out the best in others.

Lead by example as a hands-on leader and team builder who works side-by-side with the service staff, mentoring and developing the team.

If requested, collaborate with F&B Director in preparing team schedules and adjust them throughout the week to meet business demands and PTO requests.

Review daily banquet event orders and identify special requests, needs, set up or changes and convey.

Ability to work late evenings, weekends, and holidays.

A “boots on the ground” leader focused on daily operations, employee training, and the Member experience.

Excellent knowledge of computers and various operating systems; experience using Northstar software is a significant advantage.

Compensation to be commensurate with experience and career progression. CMAA membership and additional educational opportunities will be available based on the annual budget.
