This position will manage the daily operations of SMART Transit in Steele and Waseca counties. Essential functions include: first contact for issues and complaints from customers, hiring transit staff, scheduling, support and mentor all staff, training/coaching in conjunction with SMART training manager, payroll processing, and performance reviews.
Position requires above-average internal/external customer service skills, exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills, displays good judgement, professionalism and confidentiality. Requires acceptable driving record, valid vehicle insurance, background and criminal record check along with drug test required. Minimum educational requirements are HS diploma and 3-years’ experience in transit operations and management.
