Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner – Cedar Valley Orthopedic Surgery

DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic healthcare team at our Cedar Valley Orthopedic Surgery at our Waterloo office. As an ARNP, you will be responsible for providing quality patient care, conducting physical examinations, and diagnosing and treating various orthopedic conditions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· The ARNP will be expected to provide outstanding care to patients in the clinical setting covering a variety of Orthopedic complaints and conditions.

· Clinical duties include seeing new, return, and post-operative patients.

· This position will assist in the operating room.

· On call responsibilities.

· Responsible for hospital consults and rounding.

· Will be expected to deliver excellent care, perform, and interpret diagnostic testing, perform injections, and prescribe medications.

· May deliver care to work injury patients.

· Perform/order medical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures.

· Complete patient medical records, reports, and forms to record treatment for EMR and billing purposes.

· May require travel to outreach clinics.

· Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.

· Educating patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment options, and preventative measures.

· Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records to ensure continuity of care.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Current Iowa ARNP license in good standing.

· Master’s degree in nursing from an accredited program.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
