Social Worker - PRN (All locations)

Cedar Valley Hospice is the premier hospice agency serving 15 counties with offices in Waterloo, Grundy Center, Independence and Waverly. We are currently seeking a highly compassionate Social Worker to join our well-respected team.

At Cedar Valley Hospice you will work with the best team of clinicians, nurses and managers, utilizing highly regarded practices to provide optimum outcomes for our patients and their families.

The Social Worker will provide supportive services to patients and families. PRN hours are mostly needed between 8:00am-4:30pm Monday Friday. On call hours are also available on evenings and weekends. Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) is preferred or a Bachelors degree in Social Work (BSW) with one year experience in a healthcare setting required. Current Iowa driver's license and reliable vehicle required.

Qualifications:
1. Master's Degree (MSW) in social work from an accredited program preferred.
2. Bachelor's Degree in social work from an accredited program required with one year recent clinical social work experience in a healthcare setting required. Hospice experience preferred.
3. LMSW/LBSW licensure preferred.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
5. Current Iowa driver's license, reliable vehicle, and car insurance required.
6. Experience working in a team environment preferred.
