Cedar Plaza Veterinary Clinic is Hiring a Veterinarian Near Mountlake Terrace, WA

Cedar Plaza Veterinary Clinic is a minority-owned, canine and feline-only general practice. With a focus on professionalism, inclusivity, and adaptability, our aim is to create a work culture that fosters harmony and promotes work-life balance. Our work environment encompasses various growth opportunities and wellness programs to support the well-being of our team members.

DVMs work 30-40 hrs per week. DVMs get above-market pay packages with no push for production or numbers. We are a team of 7 DVMs, 5 LVTs, and support staff at two locations.

New graduates work with experienced DVMs for 12-24 months with an emphasis on tailored mentorship with a clear understanding of individual needs. Our new grads have been trained to perform enterotomies, cystotomies, and much more within one year of the mentorship. Apart from clinical aspects, we focus on work-life balance, time management, and honing leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a broad spectrum of healthcare services, including preventative care, general consultations, diagnostic tests, and surgical procedures.
  • Employ evidence-based medicine in decision-making to prioritize patient health.
  • Advise clients on preventative care and the necessary treatment for their pets.
  • Clearly communicate with pet owners to ensure understanding of pet conditions, available treatments, and preventive steps.
  • Collaborate with other veterinary professionals and clinic staff to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations related to veterinary medicine.
  • Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive work environment.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:30AM to 7PM; Saturday 9AM-4PM
  • Full-time DVMs typically work 3 to 4 days per week.
  • If working 3 days packages will be adjusted accordingly.

About Our Practice:

  • Cloud-based, paperless practice management software (evetpractice/Pulse).
  • Digital radiographs with external radiology consultation.
  • Digital dental radiographs.
  • In-house Abaxis lab: Chem, CBC machines.
  • In-house GE Versana Sonography for Focused Assessment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $125,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
