Cedar Park Regional Medical Center is Hiring a Registered Nurse - ICU - Nights Near CEDAR PARK, TX

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on the Night Shift

**$30,000 Sign-On Bonus for eligible, experienced RNs!**

The Critical Care floor is a 21 bed combined Intensive Care and Progressive Care unit focused on providing a high level of direct and individualized care to treat critically ill patients with a variety of life-threatening medical, cardiovascular, neurological, and surgical needs. Our highly skilled team of healthcare professionals is dedicated to keeping our patients and their families healthy.

Job Duties:

  • Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care
  • Assists physicians during examinations and procedures
  • Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse
  • Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills
  • Relies on experience and judgment to perform a variety of tasks and accomplish goals

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited RN program. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Texas, or license with a compact state required upon hire
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Life Support (PALS) certifications required within 90 days of hire
  • Minimum two (2) years of recent ICU/Critical Care experience in an acute care hospital setting required
