Position Overview

We are seeking a Physical Therapist to join our team! This is a full-time weekday shift position working in an outpatient setting treating patients ages 12 and up. Experience treating Pelvic Floor Dysfunction is a plus, but not a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Opportunity to treat 1:1, therapist to patient, for an hour each visit with a max load of 8 patients scheduled in an 8 hour day
• Autonomy with treating patients
• A collaborative work environment that encourages professional growth and learning from each other
• Develops treatment plans, sets goals, re-assesses and adjusts as necessary
• Adapts conventional physical therapy techniques to meet the needs of patients
• Writes discharge summaries
• Maintains accurate documentation
• Communicates orally and in writing with physicians, nurses and other personnel and agencies concerned with patient care
• Conducts or participates in training medical and nursing personnel in physical therapy techniques and objectives
• Supervises PTA’S, students, and technicians performing patient care activities
• Performs other related duties, as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required, Doctorate Degree preferred
• Must be certified as a Physical Therapist in the State of Texas
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) approved Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire
• Experience treating Pelvic Floor Dysfunction is a plus
