This is a Per Diem (as needed) position working in the OB department. 

Located minutes from downtown Austin, Cedar Park Regional Medical Center is a level IV Designated Trauma Center with more than 600 healthcare professionals working together to provide inpatient, outpatient, surgical and emergency care for Cedar Park and the greater Austin region.

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced OB Tech to join our team! This is a PRN position.

Responsibilities

• Assists surgical team during operative procedures by arranging and inventorying sterile set-up for operations and passing items to doctors and nurses as needed
• Assists in preparing and moving patients and in cleaning the operating theater
• Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Performs a variety of tasks
• Works under general supervision
• Typically reports to a supervisor or manager

Qualifications

• Certificate of Graduation from an accredited School of Surgical Technology or military equivalent
• Certified Surgical Technologist required upon hire
• AHA/ARC BLS required upon hire
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
