Position Overview: The Groundskeeper at Cedar Lodge & Settlement is responsible for maintaining the aesthetic and functional quality of the outdoor areas. Maintenance responsible for the upkeep and repair of the property’s buildings, facilities, plus equipment. These roles ensures that all areas are safe, operational, and well-maintained to provide guests with a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

Key Responsibilities:· Mow, edge, and fertilize lawns.

· Plant, water, and care for flowers, shrubs, and trees.

· Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of outdoor facilities and equipment.

· Clear walkways, parking lots, and outdoor areas of debris.

· Maintain irrigation systems and perform minor repairs as needed.

· Prune trees and shrubs to promote healthy growth.

· Conduct regular inspections of the grounds to identify areas needing attention.

· Pool testing and Cleaning

· Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry.

· Conduct inspections and identify issues with buildings, equipment, and systems.

· Repair or replace defective equipment, fixtures, and hardware.

· Maintain HVAC systems and perform regular filter changes and cleanings.

· Assist with preventative maintenance schedules and log all maintenance activities.

· Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.

· Ensure all maintenance tools and equipment are in good working order and stored properly.

· Coordinate with outside contractors for specialized repairs or major projects.

· Keep detailed records of all maintenance work performed and materials used.

Qualifications
- Landscape maintenance, groundskeeping, and maintenance experience
- Proficiency in irrigation systems
- Knowledge of lawn care, landscaping, and gardening practices
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools
- Background in horticulture
- Certification in relevant maintenance or landscaping field

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
