Cedar Hills Hospital is looking for a Director of Military Services dedicated to serving our patients with a high quality of care. Join a facility that believes in Hope, Health, and Healing!

The Director of Military Services provides the leadership and strategic planning for the Military Services Program, ensuring delivery of clinical programs that meet the needs of the community and the facility’s objectives. Responsibilities include the budgetary oversight, and oversight for all military services operations offered at the facility, including clinical services, transportation coordination, intake and assessment, utilization review and business development.

Cedar Hills Hospital is a 98-bed behavioral health hospital and Outpatient Services program in Portland, Oregon and part of Universal Health Services, a Fortune 500 large healthcare organization with over 400 acute care and behavioral health locations in the U.S., Puerto Rico, and the United Kingdom.

At Cedar Hills Hospital, our team of board-certified psychiatrists, internal medicine and family physicians, licensed therapists, and dedicated nursing staff provide individualized, continuum of care treatment in a stigma-free environment for adults aged 18 and over.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, social work, or related mental health field; Master’s Degree required.
  • Minimum of five years experience in psychiatric/mental health field, or a minimum of three years experience in advanced clinical/management practice. Military service or connection.
  • Appropriate state licensure in mental health, required.
  • A strong knowledge of Joint Commission, HCFA, OSHA, and TCADA regulations, patient rights standards and all other applicable federal and state laws and regulations governing mental health care facilities.
  • May be required to work flexible hours, evenings or weekends from time to time.
