Reports to Warehouse Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY

The worker is responsible for loading and unloading raw materials and finished goods from trucks and delivery vehicles, as well as the preparation, painting, and packaging of product assemblies. This position is for shop work, that requires the use of a tape measure, pallet jack and Forklift. Applicant must have an eye for Quality and accuracy in counting along with the ability to follow detailed instructions. Also has computer literacy for completing transactions and the creation of shipping documents.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participates in the shipping, receiving, storing, and issuing of supplies, materials, and equipment in a timely manner.
• Participates in the receiving, unloading and inspection of shipments for damage and conformity to purchase order specifications and packing slips; contact buyer regarding shortages, damaged goods, or other discrepancies; complete receiving.

• Participate in the picking and stocking of products.
• Builds and prepares crates and skids for finished goods.
• Picks/Packs/Ships all part orders scheduled daily through a variety of transport carriers.
• Operates forklift.
• Other job duties as assigned.
• Communicates shortages to Purchasing, Customer service and Engineering.
• Scans All paper work to proper Receiving and Shipping files at endo of each workday.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• 1-3 years of Shipping and Receiving experience.

• Computer skills required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and remain standing for the majority of the workday.
