CEA-NJ is Hiring a Special Education Paraprofessional Near Lambertville, NJ

The CEA School is a private school serving middle and high school age students with disabilities in a public school setting. Instructional Assistants are responsible for assisting students with instructional and transitional activities, in and outside of the classroom, and for providing overall support to students throughout the school day. A key component of this position involves assisting students in inclusive classes, school activities, and community based work experiences.

This position will also transport students to transitional activities, so the individual hired must obtain a Commercial Driver's License with Passenger Vehicles and School Bus endorsements within the first 90 days of employment.

This position is full-time with benefits and works out of our Lambertville location.

Qualifications: High School diploma or GED; two (2) years of relevant experience in education, counseling or job coaching ; or any equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

Pay: $19.00 - $20.50 per hour
