Contract Specialist Patient Access Home-Based USA Our Patient Access team is a scaled leader in the HUB services and patient access market, serving the biopharmaceutical industry with comprehensive patient support, product access, affordability and adherence solutions for more than 30 years. As part of the Contracts Team, the selected candidate will serve as the main point of contact throughout the contract development process and interact with internal staff and client contacts collaborate with various departments and teams within the organization to create contractual study-related legal documents as requested. The role requires the ability to thrive under pressure, work quickly and efficiently within tight deadlines, and adeptly manage a consistently high-volume workload. Responsibilities: Responsible for managing the contract lifecycle from initiation through execution and follow-up on outstanding contract issues for resolution to meet internal and external deadlines. Utilize excellent judgement skills and experience to review and analyze contract requests, including proposals/quotes and other matters of significance, to confirm receipt of adequate and correct information to develop the necessary contractual document. Negotiate medium complexity Change Orders with minimal management support, if needed. Utilize internal and client-specific templates for all contracts; perform appropriate due diligence on all contracts at all stages. Adhere to policies and procedures for contract development and client interaction, including managing timelines to ensure timely execution of deliverables. Perform data entry into Salesforce and/or equivalent tools related to the sales process. Maintain internal repository system according to Contract Management Guidelines. Manage workload to meet requested deadlines. Self-starter with the ability to work independently and cohesively with teams and able to prioritize workload and/or tasks. Act as the secondary support and contact for assigned contract deliverables, including subsequent revisions if required. Pursue resolution of outstanding contract issues to meet internal and external deadlines and monthly revenue targets. Contribute to process enhancements by maintaining and updating internal and client-specific templates for all contracts as required. Perform all other duties as assigned and required. Qualifications and skills: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience along with 5-7 years of experience in overseeing the complete contract process. Demonstrated efficiency through meticulous organizational skills, managing multiple projects and concurrent negotiations effectively. Preferred experience with CRM, document creation systems, and eSignature platforms (Salesforce and DocuSign). Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Excellent analytical, organizational, time management, written and verbal communication skills; attention to detail and strong sense of urgency and ability to work to deadlines. Proven ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Ability to plan, multi-task, and prioritize; ability to manage workload to meet requested deadlines. Proven capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team setting.
