J ob Description

The Machine Operator is responsible for producing quality product while running continuous motion packaging, filling, and palletizing equipment efficiently and safely by performing the following duties.

Job Duties

• Prepare quality check sheets
• Proficient in operating and troubleshooting multiple pieces of equipment efficiently
• Perform product change over without assistance
• Perform package change over without assistance on multiple pieces of equipment
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment in accordance with ISO Good Manufacturing Practices standards

Requirements

• Bilingual - Spanish / English
• Minimum age 18 years old
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies
• Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
• Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
• Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
• Less than high school education; or 3 to 6 months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, or flexible schedule as required
• Ability to work with all functional team members
• Effective communication skills and problem-solving skills
• The ability to lift 50 pounds as needed
• Ability to climb 10 12 ft ladder
• Repeated standing and frequent walking
• Continuous exposure to noise
• Frequent exposure to water
