Position SummaryThe Project Coordinator (PC) is a key contributor to the successful execution of various credit union projects. The PC will work closely with the Project Manager and other stakeholders to assist in planning, organizing, and coordinating project activities. The PC will support in managing project parameters and program schedules, resource plans, and other project-related activities. The individual will need to be detailed oriented and have strong organizational skills. The PC will prepare and edit documentation such as meeting notes, decision documents and status updates, and will serve as the primary point of contact with the Program Manager for any given project.
Essential Functions & Additional Responsibilities50% - Project Coordination – Assist the Program Manager in developing project plans, timelines, and milestones. Assist in identifying project requirements and objectives in collaboration with senior managers and stakeholders. Performs project coordination duties including scheduling meetings, resource assignment, back-office data management, and closeout activities. Responsible for ensuring the appropriate people are included and involved.
25% - Project Documentation and Reporting –Maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes, progress reports and action items. Utilizing the Project management tracking system, identify and update all activities, tasks, milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure a smooth execution. Track project progress and update project status reports regularly. Prepare project reports and presentations for senior management, program manager, and stakeholders that provide accurate and valuable information to management on the progress, risk, and estimated completion of the projects.
20% - Performance and Execution – Ensure successful achievement of corporate projects and individual performance goals.
5% - Performs other duties as assigned.
Education:A high school diploma or G.E.D.
Experience:3 - 5 years of project coordinator experience.

  • Demonstrate critical thinking and being self-reliant to better analyze and solve problems.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills. Ability to multi-task and be agile to serve members and employees.
  • Maintain working knowledge of Project Management tool and Microsoft Office
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of organization’s Employee Handbook and policies.
  • Must demonstrate a functional knowledge of the Bank Secrecy Act in addition to other Federal laws, including but not limited to: U.S. Patriot Act, Office of Foreign Assets & Control, Anti-Money Laundering, Right to Financial Privacy Act, and the Bank Bribery Act.
