What You’ll Do

The Regional Director, Post Acute Clinical Operations is responsible for leading operations oversight. In collaboration with the Vice President - Post Acute, the Regional Director is responsible for clinical outcomes, policy and regulatory adherence, P&L oversight, processes, quality, and consistency. Implements and monitors budgets, clinical compliance, and quality within the identified region of dialysis operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Clinical outcomes focused on exceeding the national average
  • Ability to successfully facilitate project-based contract implementations
  • Financial – Provides fiscal oversight to all skilled nursing facility operations
  • Provides team training and development
  • Applies advanced knowledge of clinical compliance /quality and a developed understanding of the business to function as a member of the management team, working to mitigate the risks that impede the company’s goals
  • Knowledgeable in ESRD, CDC, OSHA, AAMI, NKF, Network, and Medicare standards
  • Responsible for mentoring new clinical staff/managers as necessary to foster an environment of learning and development within the department
  • Maintains oversight of all clinical audits. Audits include but are not limited to, infection control, water, contract compliance, regulatory compliance, teammate files, patient files
  • Assists with various projects as assigned. Includes but not limited to QAPI, interdisciplinary team meetings, clinical outcome, training, patient care plans, and anemia management.
  • Provides patient care when needed to ensure continuity of care for all patients
  • Participates in various committees and task forces on a corporate, divisional, and cross-divisional basis
  • Works closely and collaboratively with leaders across our operational verticals to achieve patient and operational goals

Experience Required:

  • 4 years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) with the following modalities: Hemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis
  • 2 years of experience in leadership specific to Dialysis
  • Experience with QAPI, data compilation, and reporting required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Current knowledge of dialysis compliance and regulation
  • Experience in the areas of developing, implementing, and maintaining policies, procedures, and training in a healthcare environment.
  • Background in implementing and stand up of dialysis unit.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, working with both internal and external individuals and entities
  • Ability to motivate, lead and coordinate cross-functional teams of senior management personnel
  • Analytic and project management, leadership, and team building
  • Experience as a frontline clinician within the last two years preferred

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited nursing school; Advanced Degree preferred
  • Current state license as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • 3 – 5 years of nephrology experience
  • CPR – AHA BLS certification
