CDI Engineering Solutions is a multi-disciplinary engineering organization offering a full range of integrated engineering design, project support, procurement and construction management services to the energy and chemicals industries.

Position Summary

Project Manager to provide support for capital projects used to improve the operation of its sulfuric acid unit. This position will report to the Lead Engineer. Duties will include receiving direction from the Lead Engineer and working closely with the Plant to oversee projects. He/she will be responsible for overseeing the installation of projects and adhering to schedules and budgets for multiple projects ranging from $500,000 to $5,000,000.

Responsibilities

Manage, schedule, and coordinate all assigned capital projects.

Manage project budgets via tracking and forecasting.

Plan, prioritize, and redirect resources throughout each project phase to maintain project schedule.

Procure any materials needed for installation of projects.

Manage projects in the field during construction.

Maintain files throughout the project.

Qualifications

Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.

Must have been exposed to, or willing to learn, basic project management processes/techniques.

Must be organized, systematic, independent, and self-motivated.

Must have proficient multitasking skills.

Prefer knowledge of local and state laws and applicable OSHA standards.

Prefer previous experience (including internships) in project engineering and/or field management.
