CDCB is Hiring a Loan Servicing Clerk II Near Brownsville, TX

Summary: Responsible for loan processing/servicing/reporting for CDCB.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with accounting to reconcile daily NR reports.
  • FHLB monthly collateral report
  • Process escrow analysis yearly.
  • Process NSP letters yearly
  • Extensive knowledge of mortgage servicing software.
  • Prepare & track invoices for annual loan servicing fee & AHLP banks.
  • Prepare invoices for escrowed tax payments yearly.
  • Assist with yearly tax disbursements
  • Work closely with attorneys on Bankruptcy/foreclosure/collection files.
  • Set up new loan receivable in accounting software MIP.
  • Maintain accurate list of all auto debit drafts, including set up forms.
  • Reconciliation of notes receivables for CDCB mortgage loan portfolio.
  • Work closely with CDCB underwriter to ensure FHLB notes/reports are processed.
  • Produce and review all mortgage accounts for annual analysis statements.
  • Produce investor reports.
  • Report to Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae monthly mortgage status’
  • Monthly reporting to Credit Bureaus and credit monitoring
  • Work closely with TENA and perform quarterly TENA audit
  • Gather all information for TENA audits as required
  • Assist with franchise invoicing for loan servicing on a monthly basis
  • Assist with reconciliation of CLC/RGVMB bank accounts
  • Assist with CLC monthly activity reports
  • Assist with yearly financial audits as needed
  • Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position does not supervise others.

Education/Experience

Associates degree; or 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience in an office setting and customer service required.

Language Ability

Ability to read and comprehend simple instruction, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations. Bilingual in Spanish and English: verbal and written form preferred.

Math Ability

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables

Computer Skills

Working Knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point), QuickBooks
