TITLE: CONCRETE PLANT MILLWRIGHT

REPORTS TO: BATCH PLANT OPERATOR/CONCRETE OPERATIONS MANAGER

JOB PURPOSE:

• Repair and preventative maintenance on company concrete plants and related equipment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Comprehend and perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations
• Maintain all equipment pursuant to the company’s standards, including regular services, daily maintenance,
• and all regulatory requirements.
• Change oil and filters; lubricate all equipment.
• Prepare all equipment for use the next day.
• Complete daily work as assigned by Batch Operator
• Use provided and personal tools and equipment with care
• Accurately record hours worked daily
• Troubleshoot problems over the phone when necessary.
• Welding and metal fabricating
• Immediately report all injuries to management
• Clean equipment as needed
• Ensure all hazardous materials go into the approved receptacle. No dumping of waste oil on the ground.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area; ensure the site is picked up each day at the end of shift.
• Maintain a clean and orderly yard
• Inform the batch operator of any problems in the performance of the job
• Overtime hours may be required
