POSITION OVERVIEW
Worley Group Inc has an immediate opening for a Project Manager in our USW Project execution center, CA, USA. Worley is invested in becoming the leading service provider for Carbon Capture market as this market is rapidly growing with various sectors implementing their carbon emissions reduction programs. Our USW project delivery team is responsible for all projects including the ever-growing list of carbon capture jobs across different industries, including power, industrial, oil and gas and refineries. Selected candidates will be part of our Project Management team that is responsible for project delivery. The Project Managers at Worley have access to the global project management knowledge sharing teams with direct access to leaders across the organization and an ability to impact all facets of project designs. Project assignments range from capture managers during proposals, front end designs to execution of projects through all phases of design development, estimates and construction support.
Description:
The successful candidate will be planning, coordinating and managing the design, procurement, construction and commissioning of assigned projects. Additionally, he/she will ensure clear agreement of client objectives, and these objectives are met or exceeded, achieve or better the budgeted gross margin and provide strong HSE leadership.
The Project Managers are responsible for administering and managing the design teams including staff planning, budget forecasting, mentoring, financial performance and reporting progress and challenges to Worley location leadership. The Project Manager is expected to drive the team to meet project financial, schedule, and project objectives, consistent with Worley's standard operating procedures.
Typical work environment will be in the Worley offices but where possible hybrid working with regular time working from home balanced with attendance at Worley offices e.g., Monrovia or Long Beach.
