PURPOSEThe existing MRP system has reached an end of useful life and to better align with the company's unique business requirements, we require the hiring of a skilled programmer analyst to participate in the migration from Oracle to Epicor and support daily operations, post migration. Our expanded operations also require additional expertise in MRP programming, filling this role will help address skill and capacity gaps. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESServe as a Manufacturing IT expert to ensure the quality and efficiency of the MRP/ERP environment.Analyze and interpret business requirements to configure or develop new IT manufacturing solutions within the MRP Environment.Continuously improve IT tools and processes to support manufacturing sites.Collaborate with manufacturing leads to configure new manufacturing lines in the MRP system.Code, test, debug, document, implement, and maintain manufacturing software applications.Lead cross-functional teams to facilitate the completion of IT manufacturing projects.Perform tasks in alignment with sprint targets. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES3-5 Years of relevant experience. Bachelor’s degree in engineering or IT Related fields Knowledge C# Familiarity with SQL Server an assetExperience in manufacturing resources planning; Epicor MRP experience is an asset.Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Good capacity of analysis, synthesis and problem solving.Sense of initiative, teamwork, and excellent judgment. Bilingual (English & French): This is an essential requirement, since in this role you will have to deal with customers, partners and/or foreign subsidiaries on a recurring basis, both orally and in writing.
