DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist press operators in setting up and operating printing presses according to job specifications and quality standards to aid in efficient change overs.
• Prepare materials and supplies for printing jobs, including loading and unloading rolls, ink, and plates.
• Clean press components after use, including anilox rolls and other parts as necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and deadlines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the press area, including cleaning up spills and disposing of waste materials properly.
• Maintains supply inventory levels at presses.
• Assists with preventive maintenance.
• Cross train in the basics of press operations, plate setting, anilox selection, color matching, ink testing and more with the intention of advancing upward in the press operation roles.
• Additional duties as directed by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Good mathematical skills
• Good mechanical skills
• Basic computer skills
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Good attendance record.
• Ability to maintain highest safety standards.
