CCI Industrial Services, LLC is Hiring an Equipment operator Near Kenai, AK

General Description :

This position is responsible for operating a variety of equipment in CCI’s fleet. This includes inspecting equipment, evaluating jobsites for hazards, operating equipment and basic equipment maintenance.

This position will be responsible for driving CCI’s Mission, Vision, and Values, a crucial part of the strategic plan to drive success.

CCI Industrial Services leads the industry in Safety, Innovation, and Excellence. CCI’s mission is to provide quality-driven, cost-effective construction, maintenance, industrial cleaning, power generation, and transportation services to support resource development companies.

Essential Duties & Job Functions :

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required.

  • Ensure a safe work environment.
  • Participate in CCI’s Safety Step-Back program and by staying up to date with the online training modules in EHS. Review and comply with the various Client’s safety programs.
  • Your responsibility includes representing the Company in a professional manner at all times.
  • Work under the supervision of the Jobsite Foreman.
  • Operate respective heavy equipment necessary to complete required tasks in a safe and responsible manner
  • Be proficient in the operation of Vac Trucks, Loaders, Zoom Booms, Skid steers and Forklifts.
  • Initiate preventive maintenance and equipment inspections.
  • Maintains a clean and safe work area.
  • Conduct duties in a manner that provides for the utmost protection for the environment.
  • Report all incidents and near-misses related to personnel, equipment and the environment.
  • Keep pads and work sites organized.
  • Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job.
  • Maintain equipment operator log.
  • Must pass physical requirements.
  • Attend daily tailgate meetings.
  • Perform STOP Audits and observations.
  • This position has no supervisory duties.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and severe outside weather conditions.

The employee can be exposed to fumes or airborne particles in a refinery or drilling rig or construction site environment.

The noise level in and around equipment can be moderate. Hearing protection and the use of safety eyewear is required in most working situations.

Employee may be exposed to other hazards associated with equipment operating.

Contingencies :

Offer contingent upon ability to pass a pre-employment HAIR FOLLICLE drug test, and a client required 7-year background check to be able to enter refinery.

Requirements

Required Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • 1-year Operating Experience is required.
  • An OSHA 10 hour or 24-hour Hazwoper (Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response) training is required.
  • TWIC card is REQUIRED.
  • A valid CLASS A CDL driver’s license is required.
  • Truck Driving Experience is required.
  • MUST be able to pass a 7-year background check and hair follicle pre-employment and random testing.

Physical Requirements :

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

A pre-hire post offer Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE) will be conducted to determine an employee’s ability to perform to the job standard.

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

MOBILITY : Must be able to access all areas of a construction site and climb scaffolding and

ladders. Must be able to push / pull 50 pounds for 20 feet. HEARING : Must be able to hear audible

safety alarms.

VISUAL ACUITY : Must be adequate to perform above listed tasks in a safe manner and take hand

signals from ground man or flagman.

LIFTING : Must be able to routinely lift up to 70 pounds from floor to waist, 50 pounds from waist

level to shoulder height and carry 70 pounds for 20 feet.

RANGE OF MOTION : An objective range of motion measurement will be conducted and recorded using a

five position and rapid exchange grip strength test during the pre-hire / post offer FCE.
