Consider joining Wilbur Wright College's Continuing Education Department as a Part-Time Cloud Services Instructor. We are looking for several dedicated and personable instructors who want to teach and share their real-world experince with a classroom of eager learners.We ask you to teach with real scenarios and role-playing to get the point across with an eye to preparing students for the AWS and Azure certification exams. While students follow the online AWS or Microsoft course, you will guide them through it approximately two hours per week, with one hour for guidance and sharing your expertise and one hour for students to drop-in with questions or concerns.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Develop curriculum and weekly lesson plans that use real-life experiences to guide students through the state of cloud computing.
• Using the AWS, Azure-specific terms for anyone seeking certification
• Ability to teach using different methods to meet students’ needs and abilities. 
• Inspire, motivate and foster confidence in all students. 
• Adhere to the City Colleges of Chicago code of ethics, board rule, policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5 years working in cloud services.
• AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud certification or willingness to earn certification.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with diverse group of students and staff. 
• One-year teaching and/or training experience.
• Inspire, motivate and foster confidence in all students.
• Spanish-speaking and able to deliver the course content in Spanish a plus but not required.
