We have an exciting opportunity as a Kitchen and Bath Design & Merchandising Specialist for our ProSource Wholesale division. We are seeking a personable, collaborative, and team-oriented Kitchen and Bath expert to be responsible for planning and designing showroom layouts, making product selections, and designing showroom vignettes for new K&B implementations, as well as remodels of existing showrooms. As a K&B Design and Merchandising Specialist, you will also participate in the development, installation and tracking of K&B merchandising for showrooms. In addition, you will also conduct K&B designer training, assess and vet candidates for new in-store designers and provide designer support as needed. Our Kitchen and Bath Design & Merchandising Specialist will:

• Build and maintain a complete set of showroom layout and vignette design templates to be utilized for new showroom K&B implementation and remodels.
• Travel to K&B Showrooms as needed to consult with owners to determine the best location for a new K&B department in their store, taking measurements and pictures of the showroom and warehouse.
• Lead the introduction and on-going training and support of Showroom Design Guidelines and for each project, design 2-3 showroom layout options that provide good sightlines, customer access, and unique vignette displays.
• Participate in the evaluation of new products and assist with vendor reviews and negotiations.
• Participate in the development of K&B merchandising displays and assist with digital merchandising as needed.
• Participate in the development and delivery of training for in store designers, sales staff, managers, and owners as well as in assessing and vetting candidates for new in-store designers.
• Travel to stores to train or provide best practice support, as needed.

Do our requirements match YOUR background?

• Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or Interior Design preferred and/or related experience with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Kitchen and/or Bath Design and sales experience.
• Excellent 2020 skills; minimum 3 years’ experience using 2020 and managing multiple design projects at once while keeping accurate records.
• Experience working with a customer relationship management system preferred.
• Excellent computer skills in 2020, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint with the ability to adhere to strict timelines while collaborating with internal and external teams.
• Excellent writing skills, communication skills, and multi-tasking skills, with a team-oriented approach.
• Possess poise and confidence while communicating with business owners, sales team, and design specialists.
• Willing to travel to ProSource Showrooms for design, merchandising, and training (about 20%).
