Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our company as a Working Industrial Coating Shop Foreman.

As the Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing various manufacturing processes. This is a leadership role that requires strong supervisory skills, attention to detail, and willingness to jump in to assist with manufacturing responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Adhere to company safety programs and policies.
• Oversee powder coating, wet painting, and pretreatment operations.
• Conduct quality checks of work in process.
• Assist in completing jobs as needed, including pretreatment, powder coating, wet paint, packaging of completed jobs, handling of incoming and completed work.
• Supervise all shop employees using teamwork and promoting proper material handling and safety protocols.
• Manage incoming and outgoing customer orders.
• Provide priority, job planning, and work instructions for employees.
• Evaluate work in process for accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain database with scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment, and schedule repairs as needed.
• Provide training and technical assistance to employees in all work areas.
• Responsible for overall condition of shop and shop equipment.
• Approve time records for employees on a weekly basis.
• Answer customer phone calls as needed.
• Perform other tasks as needed or requested by management.
• Operate a forklift and overhead crane.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least 3 years of industrial powder coating and wet painting experience preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience as a shop foreman.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced and changing environment with a strong sense of teamwork.
• Ability to effectively and professionally communicate.
• Possess general mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• General proficiency with basic computer programs (email, Word, Excel).
• Ability to operate a forklift and overhead crane.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• No nights
• No weekends
• Overtime
