Essential Functions:
Drive commercial motor vehicle to deliver products to customer locations as dispatched
Follow appropriate safety procedures to ensure vehicle and driver are always in safe operating status.
Inspect and secure loads to ensure the safe transportation of goods
Maintain accurate records of shipment as required by FMCSA, DOT, State, and Local laws
Maintain driver licensing in accordance with legal requirements and compliance
Provide customers with friendly, professional service focused on quality performance.
Ensure proper handling of inventory, cash, and assets on a daily basis.
All other tasks that are reasonably assigned by the supervisor.
Valid Class D License and ability to qualify for DOT med card
Clean driving record for previous 36 months
Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced environment while operating safely
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to lift 40 lbs with or without accommodation on a regular basis
