The Traffic Coordinator is responsible for a group of stations, crafting and maintaining program templates and scheduling in WideOrbit for accurate reporting of inventory for sales and for on-air playback! Job Responsibilities:
Schedule all program changes (network, local, and syndicated) for all stations; Review network schedule and formats for revisions needed to daily log
Maintain Inventory Codes for all programs and changes to each station’s Inventory Trees
Creation of shared format templates for all programming using “Best Practices” guidelines for break structure, snipe placement, and promotional placement to ensure quality of on air look and commercial inventory maximization
Coordinate and schedule syndicated program house numbers with Market Specialist, and paid program house numbers with Market Specialist and local station personnel
Coordinate and assist Market Specialist and Traffic Operation Management with the resolution of any future “displaced” spots that require program conflicts or format/schedule changes
Coordinate distributor generated information (episode scheduling and cue sheet distribution) for all syndicated programming
Maintain Format Codes used by WideOrbit along with ITX Automation
Maintain naming convention listing for all syndicated programs
Reconcile the as-run list to the playlist using communication provided by on-air operators and automation to ensure proper spot billing. Experience Requirements:
Minimum 3-4 years Television Traffic experience and WideOrbit Qualification and Skill requirements:
Ability to work under pressure and against deadlines
Strong working knowledge of MS Office (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Strong Communications Skills
Willingness to learn and tackle all tasks assigned
Great teammate who can work with all levels in the organization
Initiative and problem-solving skills. Education:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred

Hiring Salary Range: $45,000.00 - 46,500.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
