To learn more about Mission Technologies, click here for a short video: https://vimeo.com/732533072 Job Description The NavalX Exercise Manager will be a member of the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Port Hueneme Division (PHD) Tech Bridge team that will provide overall planning and execution oversight to the annual Coastal Trident (CT) exercises. CT is an annual series of demonstration exercises that provide multiple venues for (primarily) nontraditional solution providers to demonstrate application of their solutions to Naval, DoD, and other Federal, State, and local Government problems. Essential Job Responsibilities
• Collaborate with Government, industry, and academia to integrate a portfolio of projects proposed and approved for Coastal Trident and other assigned large-scale exercises.
• Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. • Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. • Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. • Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
• Prepare briefs and present to multiple levels within participating organizations.
• Ability to work both in a team and individually.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance. Minimum Qualifications
• 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience. Preferred Requirements
• Long-term standing in NSWC PHD, Navy, local, and state communities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skill
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
