Job Description Position Summary This role will work closely with a multidisciplinary Agile Product team to build high quality data pipelines driving analytic solutions. These solutions will generate insights from the organization’s connected data, enabling the organization to advance the data-driven decision-making capabilities of the organization's enterprise. This role requires an understanding of data architecture, data engineering, data analysis, reporting, and a basic understanding of data workflows. The ideal candidate is a skilled data / software engineer with experience creating data products supporting analytic solutions. You are an Agile learner, possess strong problem-solving skills, and enjoys working as part of a cross functional analytics team. Responsibilities: Design, develop, optimize, and maintain data architecture and pipelines that adhere to data engineering principles and business goals Solve complex data problems to deliver insights which achieve business goals Create analytic data products/solutions that improve productivity and provide decision advantages based on requirements Advise, consult, mentor and coach other data and analytic professionals on data standards and practices Foster a culture of sharing, re-use, design for scale, stability, and operational efficiency of data and analytical solutions Lead the evaluation, implementation and deployment of emerging tools and processes for analytic data engineering Domain Expertise: Bachelor’s degree required; Computer Science, MIS, or Engineering preferred 3 years of experience working in data engineering or architecture role, 7 preferred (3 years for junior role) Expertise in SQL and data analysis and experience with at least one programming language (Python or Scala preferred). Experience with any of the following is helpful Snowflake, AWS/Redshift, Tableau, Power BI, MicroStrategy, Airflow, data build tool (DBT), Python, Java, Scala, Jira, Confluence Experience with developing solutions on cloud computing services and infrastructure in the data and analytics space (preferred) Conceptual knowledge of data and analytics, such as dimensional modeling, ETL, reporting tools, data governance, data warehousing, structured and unstructured data Familiarity with the Linux operating system (preferred) Exposure to machine learning, data science, computer vision, artificial intelligence, statistics, and/or applied mathematics Agile/Digital Experience: Passionate about Agile software processes, data-driven development, reliability, and experimentation Experience working on a collaborative Agile product team Physical Requirements/Work Environment Sitting, working at desk/personal computer for extended periods of time Primary work environment is an office setting Must have a valid driver’s license Must be at least 21 years of age At Constellation Brands, we value bold ideas, teamwork, entrepreneurial spirit, and risk-taking. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.
