I am currently working with a leading law firm with a strong national presence, who are actively looking to recruit a commercial litigation attorney to join their growing Chicago office.

Responsibilities:

• This role will assist with a broad array of matters, including sophisticated and complex commercial litigation cases.
• Handle fact investigation, legal research, drafting discovery, preparing pleadings, taking and defending depositions and participating in mediations.
• Communicate with opposing counsel and clients.
• Appear in court for motions and pre-hearing proceedings.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to the Illinois state bar.
• 3 years of commercial litigation experience.
• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
