Essential Functions and Primary Duties

• Receive and process incoming flexible benefits claims
• Audit claims for accuracy and compliance with the benefits plans and IRS guidelines
• Able to think critically, recognize patterns, and anticipate issues that may arise in regular processing
• Adapt to changes in IRS regulations
• Accommodate increased workload during busier seasons (i.e. year-end, claims run out, etc.)
• Ensure that participant sensitive information is safeguarded
• Resolve a full range of internal and external research requests related to benefits claims processing
• Ensure all internal controls and procedures are followed for accuracy
• Additional responsibilities as assigned

Minimum Qualifications 

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Acute detail and accuracy skills
• Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
• Excellent customer relation skills
• Proficient use of applicable technology
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and pay close attention to detail on many, varied tasks
