Job Description : Project Superintendent – Kansas City, Missouri Regional Area

FLSA Salaried-Exempt (2 weeks of paid vacation earned each year)

Company Truck Access with fuel card, all maintenance provided

Reports to: Operations Manager

Job count: 15-30 jobs with varied durations

Qualifications: Minimum 10 years with direct Construction hands-on experience, 8 years of this should be multiple job-site supervision and include some overnight travel

• Associates or Bachelors college degree required for this position or comparable experience may be considered.
• Commercial tenant finish remodel, running trades, working independently.
• Average job $100K to $750 K (electrical/mechanical/alarm/finishes/steel)
• Project Manage carpentry, barricades install, structural steel install, alarm/mechanical/electrical/sprinkler.
• Hands-on field experience basic trades and local building Codes installation.
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record.
• We have 70 years in Commercial remodel with 10 offices nationwide. Our Superintendents have been with us for years--managers are supportive with realistic expectations and work-loads. We project manage specialized remodel projects across all trades for the elevator & escalator modernization industry.
• Typical day includes visiting multiple job sites, assisting crews, tracking subcontractor's performance, daily job site reporting and problem-solving. Support sales surveys and estimates for new projects at job walks regionally and occasionally outside the region.
• Up to 25-40% overnight travel. We cover all company business travel expenses for out-of-town when an overnight is required.
• Successful applicant will have local knowledge and construction contacts. Must have Microsoft Suite usage skills and be able to use SharePoint and Teams on a daily basis.

Physical Demands:

 Continuously sit, stand or walk

 Bend, squat, climb stairs and ladders

 Lift frequently, occasionally up to 50 pounds, climb scaffolding

Work Environment

 Mobile office and shop environment

 Active project sites (occupied buildings)

 Work in extreme weather unlikely

 Work in confined spaces may be required

 Work on rooftops, pits and in building shafts
