CBI Telecommunication Consultants is Hiring a Mobility Service Desk Near Grand Rapids, MI

Are you the one in your family or friend group that everyone asks for help with their mobile phone? If yes, it’s time for you to get paid for it.

CBI Telecom supports companies across the country to support their mobile device environment and you would provide frontline support for technical issues and processing assigned tickets by phone, email and ticketing system

Duties and responsibilities

  • · Process device orders and service changes using on-line tools
  • · Trouble call resolution
  • · Take end user calls and assist in activating/processing orders received
  • · Understand and Follow order process
  • · Document each order according to the CBI process
  • · Communicate status and resolution with client
  • · Handle On-call Procurement as needed

Qualifications

  • Moderate Mobile Phone knowledge (Android / iOS)
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams preferred.
  • Ability to follow a project from start to finish, meet deadlines, and keep the client informed during the process
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written to both internal and external customers
  • Professional phone & business email etiquette skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to multitask
  • Willingness to learn

Working Conditions

  • Office environment
  • Moderate noise (business office with computers, phone, and printers, light traffic)
  • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period

Physical Requirements

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard reach, stoop kneel to install computer equipment
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work
  • Light to moderate lifting is required

Regular, predictable attendance is required.

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift
  • Monday to Friday between the hours of 7am-8pm
  • Occasional On-Call on the weekends with premium
