Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is an integrated behavioral healthcare agency offering a variety of different programs throughout Arizona. CBI provides residential, outpatient, inpatient, patient-centered medical homes, medication-assisted treatment, and crisis services to individuals experiencing crisis, opioid use disorder, homelessness, and mental illness.

The Central Scheduler is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely and appropriate staffing for all of Community Bridges Crisis, Inpatient and Transition Point facilities. This position will be required to have specific knowledge of the functions, services, populations, levels of care and staffing requirements for each CBI Crisis/IP/TP program. Central Schedulers will be required to work with multi-disciplinary teams, possess strong communication and organization skills, pay close attention to detail and be efficient.

Responsibilities Include:

• Specific Functions & Duties: Each discipline is governed by specific policy and process. It is the responsibility of the employee to read and learn the associated policy and processes as they will be held responsible for carrying out their duties in a competent and ethical manner. Creation of Monthly Schedules · Responsible for creation of monthly schedules for each Crisis/Inpatient/Transition Point program for all disciplines. · Responsible for communicating with site leadership to identify all known shift vacancies · Responsible for identifying shifts in need of coverage for each discipline and program · Responsible for communication with CBI staff in order to fill shifts in need of coverageResponsible for maintaining employees baseline schedule for each facility · Responsible for communicating with site leadership regarding new hires and training schedules · Responsible for aligning work schedule of employee with competencies, interests and business needs · Responsible for communicating with employees in order to obtain necessary shift coverage · Responsible for publishing each schedule as per policy · Responsible for completing metric reports such as registry and OT usage. · Other duties as assigned Ongoing Maintenance of Schedules · Responsible for monitoring incoming census/acuity reports as well as call-offs to ensure that each unit is staffed appropriately as per policy · Responsible for communicating with employees to ensure that coverage is found for all shift needs · Responsible for receiving employee call-offs, maintaining a log of employee call-offs and communicating employee attendance issues to members of site leadership · Responsible for maintaining current staff availability and on-call status · Responsible for monitoring staffing levels across multiple programs to allocate resources to areas of need · Responsible for communication with Program Supervisors/Leads on an ongoing basis to ensure staffing levels are appropriate · Provides support/liaison with all departments to resolve day-to-day issues for staffing ratios · Other duties as assigned Reporting · Responsible for reporting on staffing trends such as call-offs, high/low levels of acuity, special monitoring and census levels · Communicates with the leadership and the Human Resources Department (HR) on all employee related issues and ensures information is provided in a timely manner · Responsible for reporting on overtime usage and justification · Responsible for reporting on bonuses excepted by employees · Responsible for reporting on registry usage and justification · Responsible for reporting and data collection as it relates to staffing/vacancy needs as assigned and end of shift reports · Other duties as assigned

  Requirements:

Must have High School Diploma or equivalent. 

Preferred: 1 year of experience working in a medical practice setting, behavioral health field, administrative role or medical scheduling.
