We are currently seeking a part-time Cannabis Retail-Sales Associate to join our team. As a Retail-Sales Associate at Anchored Cannabis Co., you will have the opportunity to be part of a growing and dynamic industry, providing exceptional service to our valued customers.

Position Summary: The Cannabis Retail-Sales Associate is a dual-role position responsible for delivering top-notch customer service in a cannabis retail setting while also assisting with barista duties. While barista experience is preferred, it is not required, and training will be provided. This role primarily involves evening and weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Educate customers about our cannabis products, including strains, edibles, and accessories.
• Maintain knowledge of current cannabis laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Accurately process customer transactions and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
• Prepare and serve beverages, if applicable, following standard procedures.
• Operate cash registers, handling cash and card transactions efficiently.
• Maintain inventory levels and assist with restocking as needed.
• Keep the store and display areas well-maintained and organized.
• Answer customer inquiries and provide product recommendations.
• Contribute to a positive team atmosphere and assist colleagues as needed.
• Adhere to all company policies and safety guidelines.
• Stay informed about the latest industry trends and products.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge or willingness to learn about cannabis products and their effects.
• Barista experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
• Knowledge of local and state cannabis laws and regulations is a plus.

Working Conditions:

• This is a part-time position with primarily evening and weekend shifts.
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.
• The job may require standing for extended periods, lifting up to 25 pounds, and bending or stooping.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
