This position may perform any combination of the following duties:

Responsibilities to include:

• Oversee Production and Quality in all Rebuild Bays
• Oversee parts and assembly drawing creations for in-house & outsource fabrication.
• Oversee CAD drawings and upgrade current drawing library.
• Assist in coordinating outside machining requirements for project.
• Assist in all aspects of planning for rebuild project.
• Monitor drawing status and maintain revisions.
• Work closely with all departments in CB Mining to ensure the drawings convey the correct information and are error free.
• Work to increase rebuild efficiency and reduce production hours.
• Interface with sales and operations on customer issues, changes of scope, missing items, customization of customer systems, etc.
• Utilize fabrication experience to work on the shop floor taking measurements from equipment and create drawings for replacement parts and assemblies.
• Interface with outside sources for reverse engineering projects as required.
• Support Procurement and Warehouse departments with technical issues.
• Work with fabricators, assemblers, and welders during rebuild operations to ensure designed parts function properly and assist in rebuild issues.
• Oversee bill of materials on complex parts purchasing/manufacturing.
• Utilize design resources to create new tools, jigs, and fixtures to more efficiently carry out rebuild operations.
• Discuss complex repair diagnoses or procedures with Technical Communicators or other personnel within the CB, the OEM and/or vendor.
• Provide job hour analysis of major work orders after closing in comparison to budget.
• Maintain a professional relationship with all internal CB Mining personnel.
• Performs additional duties as requested or required.

Key Personal Background Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or relevant experience.
• Five years of progressive experience in an industrial environment or an equivalent combination of training and experience acceptable to the Company.
• Experience in AutoCAD and other CAD software's required.
• Must be able to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and weldments.
• A background in metal fabrication preferred.
• Must possess excellent communication skills to maintain and reflect the image of the company with all customer contacts.
• Display creativity, commitment, and the desire to function as part of a team.
• Ability to prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks and requests from numerous sources.
• Solid working skills in computer applications, including Microsoft Office..
• Understanding of underground longwall equipment and room and pillar operations preferred.
