CB Flooring, LLC is one of the largest flooring dealers in the Mid-Atlantic region. We are looking for a Warehouse Manager to join our team in Richmond, VA.

About the role:

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the daily receiving, warehousing and distribution of flooring materials as well as assisting in the overall building maintenance and upkeep. They also work closely with the Administration, Project Management and Installation teams with their day-to-day operations.

The Warehouse Manager needs to have high attention to detail and work well under strict deadlines to achieve accurate inventory levels and accurate and timely loading of Subcontractors. They should have a basic understanding of the various flooring products such as carpet, vinyl, ceramic, and LVT and their needed sundries. A core understanding of warehouse operating processes is also critical to their success. Maintaining a level of accuracy and order is the highest priority and is a day-to-day responsibility. Job Duties:

• Unload flooring material from vendor trucks
• Inspect accuracy of the material received versus what was ordered
• Pull and stage material for dispatch on projects
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and perform cycle counts
• Manage/transfer material as needed between main and satellite warehouse
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in the warehouse
• Safely operate a forklift
• Deliver materials to jobsites as scheduled.
• Use a proprietary computer system to accurately record inventory entering and leaving the warehouse

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of prior warehouse experience
• Forklift certified, or willing to become forklift certified
• Detail oriented, organized, and neat
• Proficient on a computer
• Able to regularly lift/move items that are 10-80lbs
• Clean driving record
• 1-3 years of experience driving large box truck (26') - preferred, but not required
• Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening
• Works well in a team environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
